Graduate Career Paths
Since the inception of the Combined Internal Medicine-Pediatrics Program at UC San Diego in 1994, we have enjoyed seeing the success of our graduates in a variety of fields. We also boast a first-time 96% board pass rate on the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) exam and a 98% pass rate on the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP) exam over the past 12 years. This exceeds the national ABIM board pass rate of 88% and the national ABP pass rate of 81%. Like most graduates trained in both internal medicine and pediatrics, you will have a wide range of opportunities available to you once you have completed training at UC San Diego.
