This information only applies to UC San Diego Combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency training verifications and professional references.

Our office cannot verify training for other specialties. If you are requesting a verification for another fellowship or residency program, contact that program directly Each training program at UC San Diego operates as a separate entity, so they may or may not charge the same for verification services.

Request a Verification

Residency verification requests may be submitted to the UC San Diego Combined Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Residency Program office:

  • Send an email to: Katie Wood (k1wood@health.ucsd.edu)
  • Include the name of the trainee and the years they trained
  • Attach any forms needing completion by the Residency Program to your email
  • Pay the fee if applicable

Verification & Professional Reference Pricing

Due to the high volume of requests for verifications and references that are received by our office, an administrative processing fee is assessed for each new request that is received — there is no charge for state licensing forms.

Standard Verification (verification of participation dates on signed letterhead) $75.00
Professional Reference Questionnaire completed and signed $75.00
Verification form filled out by Program Director with or without institution seal $75.00

Forms which require to be mailed out can be sent via the following options:

 Option 1: Standard mail – Does not include tracking. Delivery time could take up to two to three weeks. No fee is required.

 Option 2: Certified mail – Includes tracking. Delivery time could take up to five business days. A $20 fee is required. Please see the below “Submitting Payment” section for payment options.

Submitting Payment

We accept payment by credit card and by check.

  • Pay by credit card (preferred): Complete the transaction using the following Events Cloud site. A $5 fee will apply.
  • Pay by check: write the check to UC Regents and mail to:

Verification services are rendered only after your fee payment is received by our office. Allow our office at least 10 business days to complete and to return your verification request.
